Lab Scale Systems for studying catalytic processes of refining and petrochemistry.
Function: These units allow to do research of kinetics for the catalytic reactions, receive and analyze process data in the laboratory studying of various catalytic systems, compare one catalyst with multiple ones under identical operating practices of the process, study catalyst activity on changing of operating practices of the process etc.
Advantages: Units of this type has a minimal start-up time of operating practices, allow to organize the supply of feed to the reactor in different ways, based on the requirements of the experiment.
Multipurpose pilot plants for studying the processes of refining and petrochemistry.
Function: Testing and investigating of catalytic processes for refining and petrochemistry on long runtimes.
Allow to receive industrially important and reliable data about the catalyst activity, realize selection and optimization of process parameters, test different variants of feed.
Ideal for endurance test of customer (working off of different types and blends of feed), testing of catalysts on long runtimes.
Advantages: Pilot plants are equipped with their own hydrogen production, drying and compressing module. It is also possible to operate from an independent source of hydrogen. System of multi-zone heating and the temperature profile control provides a temperature difference across the catalytic bed for less than 1 degree celsius.
Automation: The pilot plants employ up-to-date automation and process control, that allows to carrying out uninterrupted processes in 24/7 mode. Level of automation and process control is similar to industrial plants. Fully independent DCS and ESD systems with independent operator consoles. The control unit and specialized software maintains an ongoing collection and archiving of data on key process parameters with less than 1 second of the sampling time. Option of data export to the process simulation system allows to calculate most of the thermodynamic parameters of the process simultaneously. Professional SCADA system allows the operator to tracking the main technological parameters of the process on the mnemonic diagram in "real time". Automatic control system of technological process minimizes the number of staff required for the operation of the plant.
Safety: The plants are equipped with emergency shut-down system consisting of a system of the safety valves, emergency power cutoff system, high - temperature protection system, purge gas system, system of gas-analysers supervising the concentration of hydrogen and hydrocarbon gases in the perimeter of the plant. Upon the customer’s request, the installation can be supplemented with emergency protection systems applied to the large-capacity plants.
